BASIC INFO
- 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 players
- House Rule: Play Cut-Throat or Team Scramble
- Cut-Throat
- Each player against each other player
- At end of round, each player scores their cards
- Team Scramble
- Odds against Evens
- Each player plays for self
- At end of round, team's player with best (lowest) score is used as score for team
Standard playing cards deck (52 cards, 4 suits)
- Use of Jokers is optional
(House Rules: 0, 2, or 4 per deck)
- Use 1 deck per every 2, 3, or 4 players
Game
- Winning player/team is whoever has the lowest score
- Each Game consists of 1 to 9 rounds
Round
- Each round is identical with all other rounds
- Initial Deal after shuffle
- 6 cards to each player
- Cards are all dealt face down
- Cards are dealt as 2 rows of 3 cards
(which will now be treated as 3 columns)
- One card face up as start of Discard Pile
- Remaining cards are the Draw Pile
- Start of Round
- Each player turns over 2 of their cards
(House Rules may change number of cards turned over)
Players now take turns
Player starts turn by taking top card of Discard Pile or by taking top card of Draw Pile
- If Player takes top card of Discard Pile
- Player MUST replace one of their 6 cards
- Replaced card is then placed face up on Discard Pile
- If Player takes top card of Draw Pile
- Player looks at top card and decides to either use it or discard it
- If player uses it, then he replaces one of their 6 cards
(Replaced card is then placed face up on Discard Pile)
- If player does not use it, then he places it face up on Discard Pile
(Player DOES NOT turn over any of their face down cards)
If draw pile becomes empty
- Pick up Discard Pile
- Remove top card of Discard Pile
- Place top card down as new Discard Pile
- Shuffle remaining cards from Discard Pile
- Place cards face down as new Draw Pile
End Round / Go Out
- A Player turns up their last card (all cards now face up)
- House Rule: Each player gets one last play
- All other players now turn over any remaining face down cards
Scoring At End Of Each Round
- Player score for round is the sum of the value of the 3 columns
- If both cards in column are same rank - column score is 0
- If cards in column are different rank - column score is point value of the 2 cards

- House Rule: Optional Cut-Troat Penalty for Player Going Out if any other player matches or beats Player's score for the round
- Points are accumulated from each round
- Game winner is player/team with lowest score after final round
